Legends Global today announces the appointment of Rich Sutton, who joins the business as the new General Manager – Legends Global – Chelsea Football Club. Here, Legends Global operates as the Club’s official catering and hospitality partner. Sutton, who joins one of the world’s most iconic football teams, will oversee operations at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow, ensuring a world-class match day and premium experience for fans and guests.

Legends Global joined forces with Chelsea FC for the 2025/26 season and the team has since delivered a unique and fresh approach to the culinary experience for all guests including a successful reimagination of premium hospitality catering, ensuring the highest levels of innovation at every moment.

The appointment comes at a transformative moment for Legends Global in the UK’s capital. The business continues to expand its footprint at pace in London, with high profile partners including Chelsea FC, Olympia London and Wembley Arena. Looking ahead, Legends Global is set to further strengthen its partner relations in this market, while exploring further avenues for growth. Sutton will bring a wealth of experience to the role where he will be pivotal in developing the offering at Chelsea FC, driving success and identifying new and innovative opportunities for the evolution of the club.

Previously Multi-Unit Vice President of Operations with oversight of some of the largest venues and events across the United States, Sutton has led cross functional teams with focus on the evolution of the fan experience. Along with operational and financial leadership, he has managed new venue builds and large renovation projects aimed at adding efficiencies, modernisation, and guest satisfaction at venues including Churchill Downs, USTA Tennis Centre, The Sphere, and other major sports venues. Prior to the sports and entertainment industry, Sutton owned and operated his own restaurants where he delivered his passion for great hospitality on a more intimate scale.
